So i saved the template in photoshop as a photoshop psd pdd. It automatically went to my documents. It opens up in photoshop from my documents, however it does not testify up in the file i saved it to in my pictures, therfore i am unable to open it from there. When i become to my pictures outside of photoshop it does show up in the file. When i tried to double click on information technology from in that location information technology said it was the incorrect kind of file????? I am bold something happened when i copyied and pasted from my documents to the file in my pictures. Correct?????

So long as you have one copy that is working (in My Documents) then you should be able to copy it to another location if you wish.
Of course, you don't accept to store it in My Pictures, you can go on it wherever y'all want, wherever is easier for y'all to get admission to it. Pregnant, where you tin can remember it is that y'all put information technology ;)

May be an idea to create a new binder, call it something like 'Photoshop Files'.
Accept this new folder in the My Pictures binder.
Follow the process below to create a new folder and save the .psd file in that location.

Go to My Documents and click once to highlight the template .psd file.
In the File and Binder Tasks to the left of the screen, click on 'Copy this file'.

Discover the My Pictures folder in the list, click it in one case to highlight information technology.
At bottom left of the dialog box click on 'Make New Folder'.
While the words 'New Folder' are highlighted, type the proper name for the new folder, for case Photoshop Files.
Now click 'Copy'.

This will place a copy of the file to the new location, go in that location and open the .psd file to ostend.

If you practice detect y'all are having problems with files non being recognised, y'all can manually open them in PS.
With Photoshop open up, minimise it to the taskbar, locate the file, left click, concur and drag the file down to the chore bar onto the PS icon.
Only permit go of the mouse push button when PS opens fully and you lot have moved the mouse into the PS workspace.
The epitome should now open.
